On November 9, 2006, Dr. Naba Saleem Hamid of Iraq, New Horizons for Women and award-winning international affairs journalist James Goldsborough addressed a capacity audience at the Joan B. Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice.

Dr. Hamid spoke about the atrocities of the war in Iraq and her hopes for peace and dialogue. Mr. Goldsborough addressed the changes in U.S. government following the elections of November 7, and the impact the Iraq war had on the results.
