On November 19, 2006, VOW formed a team of 16 people who walked for Darfur in Balboa Park, to raise funds for the International Medical Corps.

The $60,000 raised will benefit International Medical Corps, which has been providing critical emergency medical services for residents of South and West Darfur since July 2004. The VOW team raised $600.
